I have heard that Himalayan Pink Sherpa Salt made into sole’ and used first thing in the morning and last at night before bed is excellent for detoxing the brain of heavy metals….. As well as reducing acid levels in the body….

mercury from the brain. Before starting chelating though you need to see a biological/holistic dentist to get the amalgams removed PROPERLY. So to summarize -amalgams in mouth +ALA =possibly a very very unpleasant experience. Their is a ton of info available on the net about his protocol, just google his name.Hoped this helped. bye

#1- If your body burden of mercury is higher than your brain burden of mercury then ALA,(which crosess the Brain Blood Barrier(BBB)) could potentially shift mercury from your body, into your brain, which is definitely not something you want to do. #2-If you have had recent exposure to mercury (and people with amalgams in their mouth have), then any mercury in the blood could also be shifted into the brain by using ALA. Andy Cutlers protocol has a strict method of using ALA so it removes

ALA + mouth full of amalgams=possible trip to psych ward. If considering ALA for mercury chelation, do some solid research first. As jaba said Andy Cutlers protocol focuses on ALA for chelating metals/mercury.

What are some food sources for ALA?

Dr Cutler swears by mercury chelation with ALA. The double sulphur bond grabs and holds the metal and doesnt let go until excreted.
