  4. hipretty on July 17th, 2010 8:44 am

@lanaindiana Sounds like the strivectin works doing what retin-a is supposed to do? How do they compare to each other? Strivectin is not a Rx, right?

  5. lanaindiana on July 17th, 2010 9:01 am

@hipretty HAHA! You crack me up. Yup, you may have to do both. I think it’s the combination that does the trick for me. The Lumedia is a facial brightener and it does help with the spots and pigmentation but the Strivectin is like a miracle on fine lines and over all tone and texture of your skin too.
I don’t really use that much of the RetinA anymore so I’m thinking the first two will do the job

  6. hipretty on July 17th, 2010 9:42 am

hahahah like an old car hahahahahah!

I got all excited about the Lumedia for my hyper pigmentation….but how do you know if it’s that the strivectin OR the retin-a rnova that’s working?

Does that mean I need to do your exact routine (even the traveling and the greasy slimey car primer) to look as good as you??? hahahaha!

    <3 Ya

The Renova is a cream for aging skin and is available
only by prescription. I use the Estee Toner and LOVE it!

  14. teppit1 on July 17th, 2010 3:08 pm

Hi Lana, where do you get the Renova Toner that you have used – which toner do you prefer, the Estee Lauder or the Renova? Thanks for all your valuable information!

Not for me! I love the stuff and I have dry skin. i use them both as moisturizers and they work wonderfully.

  21. goldmetalwinner on July 17th, 2010 6:32 pm

doesn’t the Lumedia and Strivectin cause excessively dry skin?

  22. Shelley9090 on July 17th, 2010 6:36 pm

Enjoyed your video, Lana. Check Amazon on the Lumedia and Strivectin. The prices are much better than Sephora. Oh, and what nail polish are you wearing in this video? It looks so pretty.

  23. MissJagUR on July 17th, 2010 7:30 pm

Hi Lana! I used to use Renova (believed to be the best anti-aging product out there) but haven’t been able to get it recently. In Europe it is available by prescription only. Do you (or anyone else) by any chance know a reputable shop where you can buy it over the counter or a website that sells it? Or is it available by prescription only everywhere? Many thanks. Xxx

  24. torontomaca on July 17th, 2010 8:10 pm

  27. pushelildaisies on July 17th, 2010 8:35 pm

What’s hilarious is that there is a Juvederm ad on the YouTube site during this video. Can’t get away from the shite.

  28. siamese63 on July 17th, 2010 8:47 pm

    @AnneSinclair
    hilarious!

  29. AnneSinclair on July 17th, 2010 9:25 pm

  30. xfronwenzyoucamex on July 17th, 2010 10:09 pm

    dermis + epidermis + 7 non existent layers + marbles = TEN!

  31. oxjr on July 17th, 2010 10:51 pm

@palipride47 the best is the humming bird by oral b…. it is a totally awsome clit stimulator. It is for flossing …yeah right.

  32. butterbat on July 17th, 2010 11:30 pm

Why don’t those dermatologists have great skin?

  33. republicausp on July 17th, 2010 11:50 pm

1:05 But can a robot lady learn… to *love*?

  34. palipride47 on July 18th, 2010 12:07 am

Between the Wave, and the vibrating mascara brush, I’ve got well disguised vibrators always on the go!

  35. rosemarylove86 on July 18th, 2010 12:37 am

lol This is funny! What a great video. Some of the products out there are just rediculous. What’s even more rediculous though is that alot of us women don’t even think twice about some of the outrageous claims skin care companies are making!

  36. jasonx1214 on July 18th, 2010 12:57 am

    cutlis

  37. BeingInTheMessiah on July 18th, 2010 1:24 am

Iv always thought this way about commercials. they are so full of crap

  38. Steeple333 on July 18th, 2010 1:58 am

    Three? Dermis, epidermis, and what?

  39. raphael3712 on July 18th, 2010 2:19 am

Of course I’m being sarcastic. lol. I know from my anatomy classes that there are two layers of skin (epidermis and dermis) as well as a layer under the skin that’s often grouped with the layers of skin called the hypodermis.

  40. Pogosmistress on July 18th, 2010 2:28 am

xD Dear god, I hope you are being sarcastic.. there are only 3 layers to our skin.

  41. raphael3712 on July 18th, 2010 3:16 am

“If you’ll notice, it passes right through the epidermis, dermis, 7 non-existent layers of skin, and right down to the marbles.”

I had similar thoughts when they said 9 layers deep. Those dang anatomy teachers lied to me, the comercial proves it.

  42. doppleobstinotch on July 18th, 2010 4:10 am

MMmmmm…. Biospheres….Any product with a scientific diagramic elucidation must be legitimate!

  43. icudntfindaname on July 18th, 2010 4:18 am

    bahhahah 9 layers..bs!

  44. spagerbot on July 18th, 2010 4:32 am

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said that.

  45. geoog1 on July 18th, 2010 4:34 am

If you’ll notice it passes through the epidermis, dermis, seven non-existent levels of skin and right down to the marbles.

  46. hanitra on July 18th, 2010 4:48 am

    OH NO BODY AGING!

  47. dehvmos on July 18th, 2010 4:51 am

but can a robot lady learn to love?^_^

  48. Fran144 on July 18th, 2010 5:01 am

    FUTURE IS NOW !!

  49. halfacig on July 18th, 2010 5:44 am

    Are you masterbating in their?

No mom! Just opening my pores to make them micro clean!

  50. madoogliani on July 18th, 2010 6:19 am

Hyaluronic isn’t even a chemical – it’s the first part of a chemical’s name. It has to be hyaluronic something; I’m pretty sure it’s an acid. But maybe it sounds more *bioactively* convincing when you don’t talk about putting ACID on your skin.
