Can you answer KSTUDENT ~~’s question about Anti-Aging?:
hi
hi
i am curious how everyone recommends to get rid of age spots – and what the best method is to reduce or rid of them, or brand of product, etc. (outside of covering them with makeup.) i hate my age spots!

Anti-Aging Feedback: I know our dermatologist is doing great things with peels and or the laser.
Otherwise find products that have a vitamin c base to them -
You may have to spend a little $ – but look in to Porcelana, Kinerese, Arbonne makes a great serum for your face.
Anti-Aging Feedback: Treating age spots require alot of time and effort. Here are 3 treatment options available…
1) Laser treatments – The energy from the laser is designed to selectively burn the dark skin patches where they turn darker temporarily.
Then they peel off and the process should work after one session. Don’t go back if it doesn’t work.
2) There is Retin A/hydroquinone prescription strength treatment called the Obagi Nu-Derm System. Within the first 3 weeks of this treatment, your face will be red, dry and peeling.
You can go out, but the irritation can show. The lines around the eyes will deepen and there will be an increase in the level of dryness. This can be cured with a lipid serum that is made for the eye area.
Changes can occur within 4 to 6 weeks with this system. Obagi Clear and Obagi Exfoderm Forte produce effective results.
3) A medium -depth peel (with an erbium laser or trichloric acid) may be an excellent option. This involves penetrating deep into the skin to mobilize the pigment changes.
This results in a perfectly even out skin tone. This process is perfect for any skin color.
If you have dark skin be very careful. You should go to an experienced medical doctor for skin peels and laser treatments.
The reason is that an inexperienced, unmedically trained person can leave permanent dark or light blotches on your skin.
